Indian Startups Shift Base To Canada After Trump’s Muslim Immigration Ban.

US President Donald Trump announced Muslim Immigration Ban from seven Muslim majority Nations. Business environment deteriorated in USA since then. Two Indian Startups Founders shifted their set up base from USA to Toronto, Canada.

Karnataka State Transport Minister has banned all the ride sharing services
UberPool and OlaShare has been officially termed illegal in Karnataka. Both Ola and Uber were given a three days notice to withdraw the sharing services. Post South, Ola and Uber drivers started a protest against the ban in North.

From February 26th Onwards Ratan Tata will get back to his form of supporting startups.

Ratan Tata quoted, ‘“The last five months have put me forcibly in the older mode. I will be back for the startup community with greater vigor.” He has backed more than more than 40 startups which include Snapdeal, Urban Ladder, Paytm,  Firstcry and many more.

Get out of Facebook boardroom, say some shareholders to Mark Zuckerberg
A proposal moved by some shareholders says that Zuckerberg performing two roles weakens corporation’s governance and can harm shareholder value. The proposal was led by SumOfUs, an online campaign platform which it claims is committed to curb the growing power of corporations.
