The government of ODISHA has planned to start a one-stop destination similar to the T-HUB. T-HUB is lead by the TELANGANA GOVERNMENT which is the first and the largest incubator of the country. The main goal of ODISHA is to facilitate the young startup in the state.
After inaugurating Start Summit, MSME Secretary L N GUPTA said “We will not only provide physical space for the startups but also create an ecosystem to encourage their motivations.”
“The Startup Hub will base on the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. We have also initiated talks with the government of Telangana to replicate their models. The proposal is in its initial stage and the CEO of the T-HUB Mr. Jay Krishna likely to visit the state soon” he addressed.
Around 100 inspiring startups and aspiring entrepreneurs along with engineering students have attend the “ODISHA STARTUP SUMMIT“ along with the Bhubaneswar Startups-a group of young entrepreneurs and Trident Group of Institutions. “The summit will be a very good platform for the aspiring entrepreneurs. There will new incentives undertaken for the startup as per the state government rules”.
During two-day of the summit various issue’s were discussed regarding work culture, challenges, legal compliances including due diligence, contracts, compliance, taxes and seriousness.
