To our friends and customers:

Today I am pleased to announce that we are joining forces with Rovo and have entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired. Booknplay was founded in April, 2015 with the idea that by combining technology and sports, we could change how sports was played and managed in this country. The last 5 years have been an incredible journey for Booknplay, full of ups and downs. But none of this would be possible without our amazing team and our customers. We sincerely thank you for being a part of this journey.

Rovo is a Singapore based sports technology startup that helps casual and semi competitive sports players connect with other players, and sports businesses around them. The free app allows players to create their own personalised sports profiles, find players, coaches, tournaments and clubs around them. Booknplay and Rovo share a common vision to change the way sport is being played in this world. We have long admired Rovo’s passion and desire to craft value-added, customer-focused solutions while also building a great team and culture.

As part of the acquisition, all Booknplay customers will now be redirected to Rovo App. We have also on-boarded all the partnered venues into Rovo and you will be able to book your favourite sports venues online with exciting offers from Rovo. The Booknplay team will continue to work under Rovo and take care of the operations in India. Going forward, I want to assure you that our mission remains unchanged. We will simply have more resources to continue building products that delight our customers. The possibilities are infinite and we are only just getting started.
