Life goes on normally in India despite call for bandh

Ever since the announcement was made on 08/11/2016 by PM Modi, that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes would not be legal tender that day forth, opposition parties in India have been furious in criticizing PM Modi on the move. Mamta Banerjee and Rahul Gandhi in particular have been leading the charge against PM Narendra Modi. Their main charges have been that PM Modi has been acting in a dictatorial way, that the demonetization move has caused inconvenience to the common man, that demonetization of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes will not be effective in retrieving black money or black property and that demonetization has caused a financial and constitutional crisis in the country. For these reasons, all the opposition parties of the BJP had called for a bandh today (28/11/2016). But so far, life has been going on normally and undisturbed by the bandh, in most of the states of India with the only exception of the state of Kerala. Autos, cabs and buses have been running in full – swing in all the states of India, except Kerala. However, buses to Shabarimala and other holy temples in Kerala will continue to run as they attract millions of pilgrims, each year. Kerala’s ruling party, LDF, has supported the bandh.

People of other states in India however have not supported the bandh. They say that only people with black money, black property, anti – national elements, anti – social elements and corrupt bureaucrats will support the bandh. They say that opposition party leaders are only staging the bandh because they have black money and black property which they do not want to deposit and also because they need to pay crores of rupees to various party workers for staging their previous election rallies. The bandh called for by the opposition parties of the BJP has evoked only a tepid response so far, with no other states supporting the bandh excepting Karnataka and Kerala. In Karnataka however, only the government is supporting the bandh as it is a Congress government, while the people of Karnataka are against it, with autos, cabs and buses running normally. This tepid response to the bandh has given a big scare to BJP’s opposition parties. They feel that the people of India are supporting PM Modi on the demonetization move and that PM Modi will be successful after all in retrieving their black money and black property. Usually any bandh called for in India makes the people of India happy as they get an excuse take a day – off from work. But this time, very surprisingly and very hearteningly, people of India have not supported the bandh and have preferred to go to work instead of take part in the bandh. This is very intelligent and noble of them and deserves a big salute! It is true. Only people with black money, black property, anti – national elements, anti – social elements and corrupt bureaucrats will support this bandh. It is a matter of great pride for the citizens of India that their tepid response to the bandh has given a big scare to the opposition parties of the BJP like Mamta Banerjee and Rahul Gandhi as they feel that PM Modi might be successful after all in retrieving their black money and black property. This incident should become a lesson to corrupt bureaucrats, that they cannot fool the people of India and get away with black money and black property, while the common man in India suffers. I humbly request all the citizens of India, not to support today’s (28/11/2016) bandh and teach a lesson to corrupt bureaucrats like Mamta Banerjee, Rahul Gandhi, Mayavathi etcetera. PM Modi is fighting enemies inside India and the great citizens of India have proved themselves to be no less than the soldiers (jawans) of India, fighting the enemies of India, residing outside India, on the borders. A big and hearty salute to the citizens of India on their intelligent decision to not support the bandh! Jai Hind! Read more on Startup News
