FUNDING Raised $15 Million of Series B funding from Centerview Capital Technology

Data warehouse startup has raised $15 Million of Series B funding from Centerview Capitals. Existing investor Nexus Venture Partners have also participated in the funding round. With the funding round, Ned Hooper from Centerview Capital Technology will join the Board of Directors along with Buno Pati, Naren Gupta and Amar Arsikere. Previously, the startup raised Seed funding from Knoll Ventures of $4.41 Million and Series-A funding of $5 Million from Nexus Ventures Partner.

The California-Based startup was found in the year 2014 by Indian Engineering alumnus Amar Arsikare. Infoworks provides the only end-to-end data warehouse on Hadoop & Spark. Their mission is to enable enterprises to quickly leverage their data assets, for all enterprise use-cases, whether via BI, reporting, OLAP, or advanced and statistical analytics.

Amar Arsikere is known for building one of the world’s largest in-memory database infrastructure at Zynga. He also built a data warehouse platform on Bigtable at Google.

Infowork has the total employee base of 50 members. The startup will use its fresh funds to scale ‘go-to-market’ and ‘customer success’ programs.
