Workflow management startup Zapty bags $500K of Seed funding in the lates round of funding. The funding round was led by Early stage investors IdeaSpring Capital. The early stage investor investors Manav Garg, co-founder and chief executive officer at Eka Software Solutions.
The San-Francisco startup was initially started in 2014 and got bootstrapped. It was founded by serial entrepreneurs Arvind Agarwal and Sanjay Shah. Zapty allows real-time collaboration and micro-workflow management, it enables businesses to collaborate, discover, manage and eventually automate processes using AI techniques.
Arvind Agarwal, Cheif Excutive, Zapty, said: “Traditional workflow solutions make it increasingly difficult to adapt to ever changing business needs. Ultimately, business ends up adapting to the tool, rather than tool adapting to the business. We are excited with our partnership with Ideaspring Capital. Their deep technology expertise will help us increase our pace of innovation, and leverage their network to better understand the market and improve adoption.”
Zapty curently operates in Banaglore and San Francisco and has over 1000 customer base.
Zapty is Ideaspring’s fourth investment. The fund plans to invest in four-to-six start-ups every year and close 15-18 deals by 2019. A tech-focused fund of Rs125 crore, the fund was launched in April 2016.
