back2basics launches its Mobile Cart for gated communities in Bangalore

An innovative store-on-wheels that delivers organic fruits & vegetables to select gated apartments across the city

back2basics, an organic farming body that sells farm-fresh produce, announces the launch of its Mobile Cart – an innovative store-on-wheels that delivers organic fruits & vegetables to select gated communities and apartments across Bangalore. The cart has been exclusively designed to meet delivery requirements of all back2basics customers, and is a culmination of all the heartfelt feedback that back2basics received on its previously launched pilot project.

With this launch, back2basics aims to extend its services on a broader scale with a transparent and unadulterated production & delivery process that directly delivers farm fresh produce straight from the farm to the customer’s home.

The back2basics Mobile Cart provides the following benefits:

Transparency & Convenience: The Mobile Cart offers self-picking and self-weighing options as opposed to e-Commerce platforms, where consumers don’t get to handpick their favorite veggies. The cart also carries price comparison charts which are prominently displayed. Customers also get the option to handpick and savor produce directly from the Mobile Cart instead of visiting a grocery store. With the Mobile Cart, they can enjoy doorstep delivery at a designated time and location (Schedule availability on www.back2basics.farm).

Technology: Customers can use the back2basics card for hassle-free payment. The Cart also includes digital weight display, and provides SMS updates on delivery. It is GPS-enabled as well.

Quality & Hygiene: All produce available in the Mobile Cart are 100% organic, and come with a same-day-as-harvest delivery guarantee. They are also clean, and well-protected from insects and/or birds.

Customer-friendly: The Mobile Cart is operated & managed by back2basics’ highly efficient and professional staff who are driven by the ‘customer first’ belief.

Competitive pricing: All products grown, sold, and delivered by back2basics offer value-for-money owing to reduced supply chain intermediaries.

Apart from these, customers are also at the liberty to choose from more than 90 varieties of well-stocked produce that are grown across 180 acres of chemical-free cultivation area.

Commenting on the launch, Srinivasan Madhusudhan, Chief Farmer, back2basics said, “At back2basics, we always strive to provide farm-fresh organically grown produce that are high-quality, have zero pesticide, and are chemical-free. We ensure that our in-house produce are grown using world-class techniques that boast of high standards of uniformity, and consistency in taste, color, texture, and finish. As a company that supports healthy living, we aim to further promote our views among our new & existing customers with the newly launched Mobile Cart. We wish to instill in them a habit of only consuming products that can keep them healthy in the long run.”

back2basics started its successful journey by catering to the needs of corporates and 45+ organic stores. Fueled by the positive response, it expanded to include various groups along the supply chain, such as reputed grocery stores, retail outlets, and organic stores across the globe. Its 200 acre farms are home to diverse local & exotic varieties of fruits, vegetables, and greens. Read more about Back2basics.
