Telangana Information Technology Association(TITA) Presents, 10K DIGITHON 2016 , cultivating digital literacy


Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA), headed by its president Sundeep Kumar Mathkala, has raised its curtains for a great humanitarian event, the 10k Digithon 2016. When looked at a broader perspective, as our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has mentioned, digital illiteracy is what a basic amenity which is being ignored and a major cause of our country for not being a developed nation. For any nation to be a developed, basic digital literacy must also be included in the list for its plans and accordance path of success. TITA’s 10k digithon has the very same best interests in its mind when it has decided to provide basic digital education to 10,000 digitally illiterate around the suburban, urban and rural areas of Hyderabad.

Sundeep Kumar Mathkala, the president and also the founder of Digithon has made a neat plan for the 10k Digithon goes by the rule of each 1 teach 10 policy thereby enabling a brilliant usage of students, educational and professional elite of the city to spend their valuable holiday educating people about digital literacy. Leading one of such houses is Gunda Nikhil, a B.Tech final year student, and well-known networker from CMR Technical Campus with his team Digital Change Makers consisting of 10 house captains under each will be 10 digital volunteers each educating 10 people how to be familiar with basic internet and technology of today.

The principal of JNTUH Dr.A Govardhan is the brand ambassador of house Digital Change Makers. He unveiled the logo for the house today and was extremely happy with how the citizens are taking it as their responsibility to educate every other citizen on basic digital literature. Nikhil, the house leader says that “Every person must have the basic understanding of technology and how to run a basic internet search. That is when we can see our nation on a nitrox boost towards success in the race of digital literacy all around the world”.
